This Privacy Policy describes how Catenary Technology LLC (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our mobile game(s) (the “App”) available on the Apple App Store. We are committed to protecting your privacy and collect only the minimal data necessary for the App’s core features: anonymous leaderboards and advertisements served through Unity’s ad system. We do not collect any other personal information.By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only two limited categories of data:

  • Anonymous Leaderboard Data
    When you choose to participate in leaderboards, we collect your game score along with a randomly generated or hashed anonymous identifier. This data is not linked to your name, email address, Apple ID, or any other personally identifiable information. It is used solely to calculate and display rankings within the App.
  • Advertising Data (via Unity Ads)
    The App uses Unity Ads to display advertisements. Unity Technologies may collect certain non-personal or device-related information automatically when ads are requested, displayed, or interacted with. This may include:
    • Advertising identifiers (such as the Identifier for Advertisers – IDFA on iOS)
    • Device information (model, operating system version)
    • IP address
    • Ad performance and interaction data (e.g., impressions, clicks)

We do not collect:

  • Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other contact information
  • Precise or approximate location data
  • Any account login credentials (the App does not require an account)
  • Photos, videos, contacts, or any media from your device
  • Usage analytics beyond what is strictly required for ad delivery and anonymous leaderboards

2. How We Use the Information

  • Anonymous Leaderboard Data is used solely to maintain and display global or regional rankings inside the App.
  • Advertising Data is used by Unity to deliver ads (personalized or non-personalized depending on your device settings) and to measure ad performance. We receive aggregated, non-personal reports from Unity to understand overall ad revenue and performance.

We do not use this data for any other purpose, including profiling, behavioral advertising beyond Unity’s standard ad serving, or selling your information.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your data to third parties. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With Unity Technologies (the provider of our ad system) as necessary to deliver and measure advertisements.
  • With service providers who assist us in hosting the anonymous leaderboard (under strict confidentiality agreements).
  • When required by law, regulation, or legal process (e.g., subpoena or court order).
  • In the event of a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or sale of assets), your information may be transferred as part of the transaction, subject to the same privacy protections.

4. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the limited data we handle. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

  • Anonymous leaderboard scores and identifiers are retained only as long as they remain relevant to the leaderboard feature.
  • Advertising-related data is handled and retained according to Unity’s policies (see Unity’s Privacy Policy for details).

6. Children’s Privacy (COPPA and Apple Guidelines)

The App is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided information should contact us at the address below.For child-directed apps, Unity Ads offers limited data processing options; however, this App is not designated as child-directed unless otherwise stated in the App Store listing.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your data (e.g., under CCPA for California residents or GDPR for EU/UK users). Because we collect only anonymous or non-personal data, our ability to fulfill access or deletion requests is limited. However:

  • You may opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Advertising → Limit Ad Tracking on iOS).
  • You may reset your advertising identifier at any time via your device settings.

8. International Users

The App is hosted in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, please note that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top will be revised accordingly. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy in the App and/or on the App Store page.
